Back in the day, the standard answers included doctor, police, fire fighter, nurse. This illustrates the massive importance of social influence and social modelling on our everyday lives, and this applies to eating behavior, too.

The oldest debate in science is Nature versus Nurture. How much a problem, such as obesity, reflects the role of the individual versus that of their environment, which includes societal norms. If obesity is predominantly a social and environmental problem, then fixating on an individual solution, like willpower or exercise is not useful, and vice versa.
